To improve the stability of α-Fe_2O_3 in high temperature application, the SiO_2 and Al_2O_3-coated α-Fe_2O_3 composite particles were prepared from α-Fe_2O_3 coated uniformly with Si(OH)_4 and Al(OH)_3 by heterogeneous nucleation process.
